I'm on a spiritual mission to ease the burden of human suffering among AEC workers stuck in an endless cycle of tedious documentation and rework. By taking on the burden of the super technical software problems, I want to free up your time for refining the design and make better decisions based on solid data. I am not in this game to just make fancy geometry, but to build practical computational tools your team can actually use. With 12+ years experience across the AEC industry and beyond, I specialise in solving design and data problems using both Python and C#, working deep in the Revit and Rhino APIs. I go beyond the limitations of spaghetti-graphs and vibe coded LLM generated slop, writing code that scales across teams and projects. Let’s be honest: BIM and computational design promised a lot, and delivered too little. The tools are powerful, but access to them is still gatekept by an elite few. Meanwhile, most teams are left trying to make broken software workflows fit their actual design process. That’s backwards. I believe the real path forward is about scaling access to these tools and embedding them into everyday workflows. But tech alone won’t solve it. I’ve seen the same problems across all kinds of firms: short-term thinking, perverse incentives, siloed knowledge, and zero time for strategic work. Fixing that takes more than just code, it takes systems thinking and a willingness to rethink how digital fits into the business model. This is the real key to making AEC businesses more sustainable, both financially and environmentally.

"A movement exhibited by a plant or plant part in response to an external stimulus"

Dictionary of Botany

Like sunlight bending a plant toward growth, we’re the external stimulus helping your business lean toward digital transformation.

"They sentenced me to 20 years of boredom For trying to change the system from within"

Leonard Cohen

The AEC industry is notoriously slow and difficult to adapt to change. Lets admit it—Most initiatives to do Digital Transformation fail. Office politics, perverse incentive structures, broken funding models, the chaos of market forces.... We want to get past the short termist thinking about surviving the next quarter and think strategically and systemically about making the business thrive for years.

In 2024 I launched the Parametric Promethean YouTube channel to say the quiet parts out loud. The AEC industry is stuck in a cycle of failed digital initiatives and spreadsheet-driven survivalism. Real innovation gets smothered by bureaucracy, broken business models, and the Utilisation Fallacy—the idea that if you can’t bill it to a project, it doesn’t matter. That mindset is killing progress. So I declared war on it. The channel is part manifesto, part toolbox. It’s where I show what I’m building, poke fun at the industry, and hang out with my mate Terry the Thylacine on ParameTradie projects. Come check it out.
