Welcome to Paratonic Design, the digital portfolio of Mike Paraska.
I am Computational designer with a Masters degree in Architecture, and over 5 years experience working in a range of creative technical fields including architecture, web design, music and technology consultancy. My work is focused on the intersection of architecture and technology, applying computational approaches to everything from digital fabrication to urban design and BIM documentation. I Specialise in applying Python programming to solve visual design and data management problems, through the use of cutting edge tools such as Grasshopper and Dynamo. I am interested in the underlying complex systems behind architectural design, and how they can be better connected to not only make more geometrically interesting buildings but automate away the tedious documentation that holds architects back from reaching our creative potential.
